I loved my stay! The homemade cakes at breakfast were a good treat, and the spacious room had a lovely setup with plenty of tea and coffee options. I did miss the air conditioning during warmer nights. I'd definitely come back!

The property was in the heart of the city. And it was also close enough to the main square of the old town and the best restaurants.

Fantastic overall experience. A CONVENIENT property, fairly clean, unbeatable location close to excellent beaches. Lovely room, outstanding with all the necessary amenities. Friendly check in and in general helpful service. Everything spotless. Location near the ramparts, shopping, restaurants and beach, great restaurants and sightseeing.

1 Charming old city, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast
1 Small room size, poor Wi-Fi connection

missingWrote a review on 16 Novunstable seatlack of options
Let's start with the fact that room 11 had an utterly unstable loo seat, quite unbecoming for a supposedly charming hotel. Breakfast was another letdown, yearning for more than just cheese. After all this, a simple complimentary gesture woudl've been proper for my inconvenience. I almost thought about a good review, but just couldn't.

Hotel Des Abers has a perfect location close to the ramparts. The room was quite small and the breakfast lacked protein options.

Big hype, little substance
The location is undeniable, a stone's throw from the ramparts and vibrant shops. While the owners are friendly and accommodating, the promised charm falls flat compared to others I've experienced. I expected a unique boutique touch but found it lacking. A pleasant stay, yet not quite the nice experience I hoped for.

Comfortable, soft pillows made for a restful night's sleep.
Though the ambiance was charming, the room size was quite limited, and I found myself stubbing my toes more than once due to the low ceiling. The hotel also lacked air conditioning, which would have been a relief on the warmer nights. While I appreciated the homely decor, the overall space felt a bit cramped for my liking.

The Standard Double Room was super comfy! I loved the homely vibe and felt right at ease. The bed was soft. There were plenty of tea and coffee options which was a nice touch. Just a heads-up, the room size felt a bit snug, but everything else made up for it!
